Memphis is a main character in Happy Feet. He is the husband of Norma Jean and the father of Mumble.

Memphis' first appearance in the movie is singing to Norma Jean - courting her to become his mate. He and Norma Jean have a baby named Mumble . Later in the movie, Memphis leaves his son to join with other penguins. He is upset that Mumble can't sing and has a "strange ability" to dance. Noah the Elder also contributed in making him leave the land.
Memphis lost his heartsong, too. But with Mumble's help, he's finally singing.
Happy Feet Two
Memphis appeared in Happy Feet Two.With Norma Jean talking with The Elders.They are appeared as cameo.
